Business Advice from my 90 year old neighbor...

“Enjoy your life,” he says with a smile, pushing his walker slowly down the road.

Moments earlier, I asked my 90-year-old neighbor if he had any advice for me.

This is what he said:

“When I was young I got caught up in betting on horse racing.

The money was good.

But the people were hard to trust.

So I quit it.

Wasn’t worth the stress it put on my life.

Money comes and money goes.

Make sure you’re enjoying your life.

Then when you get old like me, you’ll have no regrets!”

I continued my short walk to the beach.

And took a moment to reflect on what Old Man Len shared with me.

You spend a large portion of your life working…. why not find a way to enjoy it?

Might be something for you to contemplate today...

Especially if you find yourself dreading going to work every day.

I’m going to go build some stuff in my van.

Because I enjoy it.
