“Those who can’t do, teach…”

business

Have you ever heard the saying:

“Those who can’t do, teach…”?

It’s a jab at teachers.

And if you’re looking to start an online business:

It can reveal a cheat code to success and cutting through the noise on the internet.

Ready for it?

Only teach what you can in fact do.

Pretty simple, ain’t it?

In a world swimming with hucksters looking to make a quick buck on the internet - this becomes your secret weapon.

When you teach from genuine experience it builds credibility and trust.

You can provide real-world examples and insights that resonate deeply with your audience.

It’s the reason I often reference the mistakes and lessons I’ve learned from running my online basketball training business for over a decade.

As a creative entrepreneur you are trading on your relationship with your audience.

And when you speak from personal experience, and you are honest, you build and maintain that trust.

You don’t need to be an expert.

You don’t have to have it all figured out (hint: no one does anyways…)

You just have to be a few steps ahead of the people you are teaching.

And be honest about where you’re at.

And Bobs your uncle.

That’s it for today.

I’m off to the gym and maybe some afternoon waves in the ocean.
