What to do when you feel like giving up…

business practical philosophy

This is going to fly in the face of most business coaches selling their course to online riches…

So, I apologize in advance for the wreckage of broken dreams I’m bound to cause:

Starting a business is hard.

There’s just no way around it.

You’re literally birthing something into the world.

And I ain’t no birthing expert, but it doesn’t really look like a pina colada on a beach kind of easy...

Why am I out here crushing the dream of overnight riches?

I’m just trying to be honest.

And set real expectations.

So that when hard comes knocking on your door, you’ll be expecting it…

And instead of running the opposite direction and shutting your doors (and business)….

You’ll invite hard in for tea.

And maybe a cheeky biscuit or two.

Here’s why…

When you know hard is coming - and you’re expecting hard to come - hard becomes part of the journey.

In fact, hard can even become encouraging…

Because when things get hard, most people quit.

(Especially the ones who were sold the sunshine and rainbows road to riches path…)

So instead of:

“Oh no, this is hard!”

It becomes:

“Oh goody, this is hard and most of my competition is quitting right now…”

Make sense?

Disclaimer:

We’re not talking about the masochistic approach of making things harder than they need to be… or creating dumb problems in your business so that you have fires to put out.

(^ ask me how I know all about this one…)

I’m talking about meeting the challenges your business naturally presents you with.

Cool?

Cool.

I’m off to the gym to pay hard a visit.

I’ll say hi for you.
